With new versions of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series launched over the past year or two, Audi’s entrant in the mid-size executive sedan segment, the A6, was starting to get a little long in the tooth compared with its rivals. However, that’s all set to change as the brand new 2012 Audi A6 has finally made its debut, being revealed to the public for the first time at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show this morning. A fresh new look, more powerful yet more fuel efficient engines and plenty of technological gizmos to keep even the most savvy of tech-heads happy, the new 2012 Audi...

2012 Hyundai Veloster Preview: 2011 Detroit Auto ShowIt's one of the most hotly anticipated new cars on display at the 2011 Detroit auto show--and maybe that's surprising, since the 40-mpg 2012 Hyundai Veloster comes from humbler beginnings than super cars like the Porsche 918, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and BMW 650i that also are vying for attention at...

We've already brought you the full details and official studio shots of the 2011 MINI Paceman, the "crossover coupe" version of the MINI Countryman, but now we have live shots from the unveiling at Cobo Hall. Despite the awkward market segment (crossover coupe?) and a name that runs dangerously close to "pacemaker," the 2011 Paceman actually holds up very well in the real world: the proportions fit, the elements are cohesive, and it looks to rise to the same high quality as the rest of the MINI lineup--though we still have our doubts about the new Countryman-inspired corporate face. For the...

2011 Detroit Auto Show: 2012 Toyota Prius VV for versatility. That's the 2012 Toyota Prius V's hook, and though it drops the "MP" from MPV, it's precisely that--and awfully familiar, too. It not only looks a lot like the standard Prius hatch, but with the Ford C-Max and its hybrid variants fresh in our minds, it looks rather like those...
