Pagani Huayra

  • Pagani Huayra in Shift 2 Unleashed

The Pagani Huayra, like the Zonda before it, is polarizing in design: some love it, some can't wrap their heads around it. We're huge fans of the engine, the overall profile, and the performance--but not sold on many of the details yet. Whichever camp you belong to, you'll enjoy this footage and imagery from the upcoming Need For Speed franchise Shift 2 Unleashed. Tires smoking, tail out, the Huayra does its deeds in digital fashion, free of the consequence of balling up over $1 million in carbon fiber (not to mention the occupants inside). [Need For Speed]

    2011 Pagani Huayra preview

The wraps are finally off Pagani’s new supercar, the Huayra (pronounced why-eera), which like the Zonda it replaces was named after a South American wind. Also like the Zonda, aerodynamics once again played a major role in the car’s development, which is one of the primary reasons that...

This, Sadly, Is The Pagani Huayra

Magazine cover leaks followed by the shot above reveal the new Pagani Zonda successor, the Huayra, in all its gull-winged, gap-toothed glory. It's a bit more Spyker and a bit less sexy than we'd have liked. Busy doesn't even begin to describe the car's design, and though the Zonda was also a...

A brand new Pagani supercar is in the works, one that is lighter and more powerful than the current Zonda, and scheduled for sale in the U.S. The car is currently doing the rounds under its codename “C9” and has been spotted in prototype form on a number of occasions, revealing a similar shape to the Zonda but with smaller proportions and gullwing doors. The C9 is also expected to feature a brand new engine, another V-12 unit and again sourced from AMG. This had led to speculation that the upcoming supercar would simply borrow the twin-turbocharged V-12 from the Mercedes-Benz SL65...
