American electric car startup Lucid has revealed its first model, a luxury sedan with 1,000 horsepower and a range of 300 miles. The car is called the Air and Lucid is hoping to have it production in 2018.

Aston Martin is out testing the convertible version of its DB11 grand tourer. The car is due on sale in the spring of 2018, at which point the DB11 is likely to be offering V-8 as well as V-12 engine options.

Uber has started a trial self-driving taxi service in its home town of San Francisco. It’s the second such trial being run by the ridesharing giant. The first has been run successfully for the past several months in Pittsburgh.
