The Nissan GT-R has been refreshed, again, and that includes the top-of-the-line NISMO model. Remember when you could get a GT-R for under $60,000? Now a 2017 NISMO model starts at $176,585.

This of course has plenty of enthusiasts up in arms as this supercar that was once a value has now reached, well, supercar pricing.

And that brings us to our recent Twitter poll where we asked if the 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO is fairly priced at $176,585. A whopping 67 percent of you said, "Um, no!"

A total of 19 percent of you said, "Um, yeah!' while 9 percent of you apparently aren't sure.

Weirdly, 5 percent of you said, 'What's the GT-R NISMO?" to which we say, please read Motor Authority daily.

Putting what the GT-R used to cost aside for a moment, the NISMO's price is a large step up from the current GT-R Premium model which is priced at $111,585.

Of course, the NISMO features unique body work with carbon fiber bumpers, sills, and rear spoiler. Inside the cabin there's leather upholstery with Recaro seats featuring synthetic suede inserts.

But it's the power plant that is the star here, and it makes 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque, which is 35 horsepower and 14 pound-feet of torque more than the base model.

Are all these upgrades over the non NISMO models worth it? According to you, no, but the NISMO is a special thing, there's no doubt about that.
