Devel's quad-turbo V-16 engine is real, and it hit the dyno; Mercedes revealed the interior of the new 2017 E-Class; and Hyundai unveiled the new 2017 G90 from its upscale Genesis brand. It's the Week in Reverse, right here on Motor Authority.

Ever since the Dubai-based hypercar, the Devel Sixteen, was revealed, everyone's doubted it would actually go into production. This week it looked a little less like vaporware as the automaker released a video of what appears to be the Devel's quad-turbo V-16 engine on the dyno. As it hit 4,515 horsepower it actually maxed out the dyno. Could it have the claimed 5,000-plus-horsepower? Maybe.

Jay Leno slid behind the wheel of the rare Drakan Spyder. With an LS3 E-Rod V-8 making 430 horsepower, and a mere 2,000 pounds to haul around, the Drakan Spyder is quick. And with no driver aids to be found, you're left to put all that power to good use on your own.

Mercedes-Benz finally unveiled the interior of the new 2017 E-Class. It features a dashboard made almost entirely of glass re-configurable displays. With leather, real wood, high-end switch gear, and a stunning design, it sets a new benchmark in the mid-size luxury sedan segment. We'll see the entire new 2017 E-Class next month at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.

Before it's U.S. debut, which is also scheduled for the Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai's new upscale brand Genesis took the wraps off the new 2017 G90, which set to replace the current Hyundai Equus. The full-size luxury sedan will compete with the Lexus LS and Mercedes-Benz S-Class as it launches the Genesis brand.
