The McLaren road car division has hired Swedish racing car driver Kenny Bräck as its latest development driver. He’s competed in both sports car and formula formats, with the highlights of his career being a championship in the 1998 Indy Racing League season and a victory at the 1999 Indianapolis 500.
Bräck is featured in two new videos released by McLaren this week. The first shows him taking on the famous Goodwood hill climb at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car he’s piloting is a McLaren F1 GTR Longtail.
In the second video, Bräck talks about his career in motorsports, including his infamous IRL crash in 2003 at the Texas Motor Speedway that almost cost him his life.
