Mercedes-Benz used this week’s 2015 Consumer Electronics Show to present the new F015 Luxury in Motion concept car. It’s a self-driving, fully-connected, hydrogen-electric plug-in hybrid that Mercedes says hints at what its cars in the future may be like.

Dutch performance brand Donkervoort has revealed a new special edition version of its D8 GTO track car. It’s named after Germany’s Bilster Berg race track, a track it holds the production car lap record at.

Next week is the 2015 Detroit Auto Show and we’ve got an extensive preview of many of the cars and concepts that will be on display. More than 40 global premieres have already been confirmed, and we bet there will be a number of surprises too.

You’ll find all of this and more in today’s car news right here at Motor Authority.
