Mazda’s fourth-generation MX-5 Miata, the ND, made its debut this week. The design is stunning, and the best part is that the car weighs around 220 pounds less than the outgoing model.
Audi’s A6 has undergone a mid-cycle update for the 2016 model year. The updated car features new styling, engines and tech, and the sporty S6 variant gets some additional horsepower. Unfortunately, we still miss out on some of the cooler variants such as the M5-rivaling RS 6 Avant and the A6 Allroad soft-roader.

This week we found out that VL Automotive, the company planning to sell Fisker Karma sedans powered by Corvette V-8 engines, has merged with WM GreenTech Automotive. Buick revealed a new crossover this week called the Envision. It’s about the same size as the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class and should be on sale in the U.S. next year. A version of the Envision will also be sold in Europe as an Opel.

Ford’s 2015 Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition coupe is almost certainly sold out—only 1,964 examples are destined to be built—but you can still get a hold of one if you’ve got deep pockets. The Blue Oval is putting the very last example up for auction, and all proceeds from the sale will be going to charity.
