Paul Walker's death last November stunned the automotive community and the Fast and Furious team. The seventh movie in the franchise was already underway, with over half of the filming completed. But producers were left with the question of how to finish the movie while preserving Paul Walker's character, Brian O'Conner.

Last month it was reported that the film would feature a mixture of body doubles and computer-generated images to ensure the Brian O'Conner character would be present where needed to complete the story.

Now, Universal Studio has announced on the Fast & Furious Facebook fan page that Paul Walker's brothers, Cody and Caleb, will be joining the FAST family.

The brothers will help complete some of the remaining action sequences for their brother, along with filling in a few gaps left in production.

"We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue. We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too," the studio says. "Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for Fast & Furious 7, and it’s among the strongest work of his career."
