Ford’s new 2015 Mustang Convertible has made its debut alongside the regular Mustang fastback coupe. The new car features a multilayer soft top that lowers twice as fast as before, and has a sleeker profile when down.

McLaren is boasting that its P1 supercar can lap Germany’s Nürburgring in under seven minutes, though the automaker is yet to release video evidence of the complete run nor an actual time. At present, the record for a production car around the ‘Ring is Porsche’s 918 Spyder, which set a time of just 6:57.

Audi will present a new crossover concept at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, which may or may not preview its recently confirmed Q1 crossover. It's a crossover, but it only has two doors.
