Subaru has released the first photo of its 2015 WRX, which the automaker has confirmed for a reveal at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show next week. Thankfully, the car appears much more like the recent WRX concept than spy shots of prototypes would have you believe.

A firm by the name of Quanta has shown a C6 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 concept car packing a hybrid drivetrain that delivers a claimed 770 horsepower and 1,500 pound-feet of torque. The best part is the setup maintains the Z06’s sweet LS7 V-8.

Toyota motorsport partner TMG has announced plans to build a rear-wheel-drive rally car based on the Toyota GT 86, the global version of the Scion FR-S. It’s been designed for the FIA’s R3 rally category.
