In three days, Chevrolet will reveal the much-anticipated 2014 Corvette to the world, with the unveiling scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 13 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Corvette fans don’t have much longer to wait, but that hasn’t stopped Chevrolet from releasing one last teaser video ahead of the car’s debut. In it, we get a glimpse at the C7’s assembly line, which likely means that the video was produced during assembly line testing.

Not much is revealed, but we do catch a glimpse of the C7’s roof and inner fenders, along with its aluminum chassis. As with the C6, it looks like the C7 will use a rear transaxle for optimized weight distribution.

We do know that the 2014 Corvette will come to market with an all-new 6.2-liter LT-1 V-8, rated at 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. According to Jonathan Andrews, body shop launch engineer, “Every gram has to earn its way onto the car,” meaning that even base model C7 Corvettes will deliver impressive performance.

This video is the fourth in a series of C7 teasers. If you missed the first three, you’ll find the first here, the second here and the third here. We'll bring you full details on the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette and its reveal as part of our complete 2013 Detroit Auto Show coverage.
