Tesla Motors [NSDQ:TSLA] overnight unveiled its new Master Plan. The plan calls for a dramatic expansion of segments that Tesla competes in, including moving into commercial segments such as those of pickup and semi trucks.

Land Rover’s new Discovery SUV is almost ready for its auto show debut. The mid-size SUV will replace the aging LR4 in Land Rover’s lineup and compete against the Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. We have a spy video of a prototype on the Nürburgring.

Speaking of the Nürburgring, Koenigsegg has revealed details on the circumstances behind the recent crash of its One:1 hypercar on the German race track. It turns out the cause of the crash was a mechanical issue and not the fault of the driver.
