The go-fast bits on the 2016 Shelby GT350R that will be auctioned at the 13th annual Cattle Baron’s Ball in Detroit are bone stock.
Of course, if you're familiar with the weapons-grade track monster's capabilities, you know it's a hell of a machine straight from the factory. Along with a host of suspension tweaks, there's the flat-plane crank V-8, which produces a brutal 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque and revs to a dizzying 8,250 rpm.
But the one-of-one machine features a host of custom touches, including an Oxford White exterior and a blue stripe with red accents. The theme carries over into the cabin via unique stitching and carbon fiber interior accents, and there's also a Ford Performance Parts rear seat kit—standard GT350Rs have no provision for rear passengers—along with a unique Cattle Baron’s Ball sill plate.
All proceeds from the sale of the trick Pony will go to the The American Cancer Society. The auction will be held September 26, at Cobo Center in Detroit.
