Baume & Mercier, a Swiss watchmaker (and part of the Richemont Group) will partner with the Shelby brand for a limited-edition run of watches celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 427 Shelby Cobra’s unveiling as well as its first winning of the FIA Sports Car World Championship.

The watches, known as Capeland Shelby Cobra limited-editions, will be designed and built by Baume & Mercier. “The elegance of lines, attention to high-quality and legacy of expertise are some of the common characteristics between our creations, our philosophy and values,” said Alain Zimmermann CEO of Baume & Mercier.
