French supercar startup Genty has released some revised specs for its Akylone supercar. According to the company, the Akylone will now develop as much as 1,200 horsepower and reach 186 mph in just 14 seconds.

BMW boss Dr. Norbert Reithofer has confirmed that the next-generation 7-Series will feature some carbon fiber in its construction. Look for it to appear in some body panels as well as seat frames and instrument panel frames.

General Motors has issued a series of recalls affecting about 2.7 million vehicle owners in the U.S. alone. Among the cars being recalled are certain versions of the Cadillac CTS and the previous-generation Chevrolet Corvette.
