Lamborghini has built its very last Gallardo, ending the car’s 10-year production run. In total, 14,022 examples have been built. We wonder if the car’s successor, the so-called Cabrera, will be just as popular.

High-performance Polestar Volvos will be on sale in the U.S. next year. The first examples will be based on the 2015 S60 and 2015 V60, and should be in showrooms next summer.

We were fortunate enough to take a quick spin in both the regular 2015 Nissan GT-R and its new high-performance NISMO variant. Whichever model you go for, what results is a car that’s simultaneously a little more capable and a little less intimidating from the driver’s seat, while offering as much panache as ever on the outside.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
