Effective today, Cadillac’s CPO program will extend vehicle coverage to match the new-vehicle bumper-to-bumper warranty for up to six years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.
This should put at easy anyone considering buying a used Cadillac and is proof of the automaker’s commitment to its vehicles.
The vehicles all have to pass a 172-point inspection before they can receive the Cadillac CPO classification.
As part of the CPO program, owners will also be offered complimentary 24-hour roadside assistance, courtesy transportation and a three-month subscription to OnStar and SiriusXM services, among other benefits.
Most owners of 2011 and newer models will also be eligible to purchase Cadillac’s Premium Care Maintenance. Previously reserved for new vehicle purchases only, this service covers oil and filter changes, engine air and cabin filters, tire rotation and multi-point vehicle inspections at owner’s manual-recommended intervals.
Thanks to its expanding range, Cadillac sales in the U.S. are already up 37 percent this year and the more comprehensive CPO program should help maintain the momentum. The aim is to raise resale values while also boosting dealership sales--for both new and used vehicles.
