Super Bowl ads aren’t just pitching beer, chips and cars this year. Movie studios have figured out that the best way to get fans’ eyes on trailers for upcoming movies is to show trailers during the Super Bowl. One movie preview that will air during the big game is the spot for the upcoming Fast and the Furious 6.

Yahoo Movies tells us that the showing is an official debut, meaning that Universal is sparing no expense in promoting the Justin Lin-directed action flick, scheduled to hit theaters in May. Paul Walker returns to the franchise, as do Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.

We also know that Fast and the Furious 6 will feature a heavily-tuned Nissan GT-R, wrapped in matte blue vinyl, as well as a Subaru BRZ. As to who drives which car, we suppose we’ll find out in the upcoming trailer.

You may want to watch out for the Iron Man 3 movie trailer, too, as it will almost certainly feature another cameo appearance by the Acura NSX roadster concept. Tony Starke is a car guy’s car guy (whose character was modeled after Tesla’s Elon Musk), so there’s no telling what other tasty rides may appear in the clip.
