Going for a “seriously sinister” look, Dodge is expanding its “Blacktop” models to include the Avenger and Challenger R/T in addition to the already-available Blacktop Charger R/T. Meant to give buyers a custom look right off the dealer showroom floor, the Blacktop package can be had for as little as $595 on the Avenger.

That price gets Avenger buyers gloss black 18-inch wheels, a gloss black grille, black headlight surrounds, a body-colored rear spoiler and leather seating surfaces. While you can, of course, get the Avenger Blacktop in black, you can also take delivery in Bright White, Redline Red, Tungsten and Billet Silver Metallic.

If you’ve been eyeing a Challenger R/T, but wanted something just a bit more unique than Dodge’s current offerings, the Blacktop package may be just what you’ve been waiting for. While similar to the Challenger Dodge showed at SEMA in 2008, the new package looks even better to us.

For $1,995 additional, the Challenger Blacktop gets the Super Track Pak, 20-inch gloss black wheels, a gloss black grille, a gloss black fuel filler door and matte gray with red body-length striping. Underneath the stripes, the Challenger Blacktop can be had in Pitch Black, Granite Crystal or Billet Silver Metallic.

The Charger Blacktop edition comes with 20-inch gloss black wheels, a gloss black grille, black headlight surrounds, a body-color spoiler, paddle shifters, sports seats and a Beats audio system, all for the package price of $1,695. Base colors includePitch Black, Phantom Black, Billet Silver Metallic, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Redline Red.

Charger Blacktop models are available now, while Avenger and Challenger models will enter production in December.
