Maybe you've missed the Integra and RSX--but will the 2013 Acura ILX fill the void? The new luxury compact sedan offers a distinct choice between a Civic Si powertrain and a hybrid one, for starters. So how does it drive, and does it really replace the great compact Acuras of yore?

In other news, General Motors has already announced it will be dropping the Impala nameplate from NASCAR, and that it will be replacing it with a new vehicle. While that vehicle hasn't been announced yet, rumors have been flying that the Holden Commodore will be returning to the U.S. market as a Chevrolet. GM has now trademarked the SS nameplate which adds more fuel to this rumor.

Also swirling in the rumor combustion chamber: that long-awaited Lamborghini SUV. Yesterday, Lamborghini confirmed it with a teaser image that precedes a concept due at next week's Beijing auto show. The SUV's underpinnings will likely be shared with the next-generation Porsche Cayenne and with a new Bentley SUV--only, we expect to find a Gallardo V-10 sitting in the engine bay.
