Bumblebee Camaro crashes into real police car
The accident took place in the heart of Washington DC and involved a police vehicle that cut across the film set as it responded to an emergency call. Luckily nobody was seriously injured. You can watch several videos of the incident taking place below.
Earlier this year an extra on the show, Gabrielo Cedillo, was involved in a bizarre accident where a cable pulling a vehicle in front of her car snapped and smashed through her windshield. She was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries but she is believed to be making a recovery.
The Transformers 3 movie is expected to open on July 1, 2011.
