With the amount of interest behind events such as the X Games and extreme sports receive from today’s youth; it was only a matter of time before manufacturers realized the potential that a vehicle aimed at the generation would have. Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has created an off-roader quad bike concept labelled the EXIT, which is a mash-up of a BMX bike with a motorcycle. The bike features a low output Rotax 4-TEC engine and is based on the all-terrain vehicles, which BRP specialises in.

Built on a chassis which uses Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) for its frame, the EXIT design allows it to be extremely low in weight. Whether this niche takes off is still questionable, but given the rising demand for low consumption modes of transport, the BRP EXIT could really takeoff.
