Henrik Fisker, the designer behind two of the best looking cars on the road, the Aston Martin Vantage V8 and DB9, is planning to build a brand new sports car with his company Fisker Coachbuild. The company was originally started to revive the concept of coachbuilding – changing the sheetmetal of donor cars for a completely new look – but Fisker’s ambitions have lead him to develop a car from the ground up.

PistonHeads is reporting that Fisker is on the search for venture capitalists and has stated the proposed car will be in the region of $100,000, which puts it in with some pretty serious competition. Still, buyers looking for exclusivity (only 400 will be made per year) and who are unable to afford the custom coachbuilding work will be interested.
