Next year will see the launch of two new versions of the Audi TT coupe. Here’s an image of the first of these new vehicles caught while testing in Germany sent in by a reader of German newspaper Bild-T. Most of the engines from the coupe will carry over to the canvas topped roadster but we’re hoping Audi’s upcoming TT-RS will also come in convertible form.

One of our previous reports outlined details of the high-performance TT-RS as well as news that Audi will introduce a diesel engine into the TT. Transmission options include either a conventional six-speed or Audi’s S-tronic double clutch gearbox mated to the Quattro AWD system. Both the TT-S and Roadster are expected to debut at next month’s LA Motor Show.
