U.K. supercar manufacturer Ascari has created the 625bhp A10, which is being touted as a genuine Enzo FXX rival by its spin doctors. The new car does have the benefit of being completely road legal, and is priced somewhat lower than the Ferrari, at £350,000. Currently, only 10 units have been built, with additional cars being made to order. Everything was designed and hand built in Banbury, England and engineers have come away with a lithe weight supercar capable of reaching 60mph from rest in just 2.8 seconds and up to 100mph in only 6 seconds. Ascari is claiming that the A10 is in fact the fastest road going production car around a race track.

The A10 shares much in common with Ascari’s previous supercar, the KZ1. Unique features of the A10 include all new body panels, a reworked engine and suspension, plus extensive brake modifications to cope with the extra power. Hopefully owners will be able to take their cars to Ascari’s Spanish race circuit resort, where they can unleash the A10’s true potential. Prospective buyers will have to wait until the A10 makes its official debut at this year’s MPH show in Birmingham, England on the 28th of this month.
