The Spanish arm of Volkswagen Group's automotive operations, Seat, has announced their schedule for new models through 2010, and included in the bonanza are the as-yet-unnamed SUV and the new Ibiza Cupra and Sportback. The Ibiza models will come first, with the SUV following in 2010.

The start of the new model reveals will come with the Ibiza Sport Coupe, due for unveiling in 2009, with a high-performance FR version coming in February of that year and the Exeo in March. April brings the Altea and its variants, plus the new Leon.

The Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 will play host to the new Cupra hatch, based on the Bocanegra Concept (pictured) that lit anticipation in March. That stunning design combines a 1.4L twin-turbo TSI engine with a seven-speed DSG gearbox sourced from its parent company VW.

The Ibiza that is based on it is expected to be available in three and five-door variants and will sport a range of engines including 1.2L and 1.4L petrol and diesel units. The FR will get a 150hp (112kW) 1.4L turbo engine, while the Cupra will get a 1.8L turbo presumably good for even more power.

No solid details have yet emerged on the upcoming SUV, but it will be out in 2010 along with the Ibiza Sportback.
