Is the new, dynamic trio-free Top Gear finally here? Sadly, not quite.

A new trailer posted to the web has given us another taste of what's to come.

Sure, the less-than-a-minute trailer posted to the Internet by the show's producer, the BBC, contains plenty of the expected "car porn" with beautiful images showing classic Ferraris, Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s vintage RTR-X drifting Mustang, and more, but what really set the old Top Gear apart were the segments where the presenters had a set budget to find a cheap car within certain parameters.

The good news is that it looks like this tradition is set to continue: In this clip we see presenters Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc casually talking in the office while they look for cars to buy.

While there's been much speculation about the upcoming reboot, one thing that does reassure us a little is the dialog in this short.

"It's like 'car tinder,'" LeBlanc says as he flips through pictures of 15-year-old Mercedes-Benzes. And he later asks if Glasgow is close (to, presumably, London). If this is any indication, the writing hasn't lost its bite entirely.

The new season starts on Sunday, May 29. While you wait, you can get your fix with previous trailers at this link.
