We spied the 2018 Jeep Wranger; we learned that the mid-engine C8 Corvette may be coming in 2018; and Volvo previewed its compact vehicle lineup with some concepts. It's the Week in Reverse, right here on Motor Authority.

GM's putting the first Chevrolet Camaro ever built on display on the sidelines of the 2016 Woodward Dream Cruise later this summer in Detroit. To celebrate the addition of Camaro 100001 to the Historical Vehicle Association registry, some unknown details have been released regarding the car, from potential names to development time.

We drove the 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn and while it doesn't deliver neck-snapping grunt, it gets you where you want to go in luxurious style. While the price of entry is stratospherically high, the Dawn proves there is a reward for success.

We spied the 2018 Jeep Wrangler in Ultimate trim, and even saw the new turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the hood. Despite its evolutionary looks, the new Wrangler will be a departure for the Jeep faithful as it will also get a turbodiesel V-6, add a pickup variant, and feature some aluminum in the structure.

A new report says the upcoming mid-engine C8 Chevrolet Corvette will make its debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show in just a year and a half. Said to be arriving in base trim with a pushrod V-8 engine, the C7 Corvette might mark the end of an era for front-engine Corvettes.

Volvo previewed its upcoming compact vehicle lineup with two concepts that will lead to S40 and XC40 models. With designs inspired by the XC90, the new concepts are sharp, and feature plug-in hybrid powertrains.
