A few years back we saw a Gumball 3000 participant navigate his way through about a foot of water in a Lamborghini Murciélago. We thought it was brave though also reckless considering how low the Murciélago—and its engine—sits.

Now, someone in a Gallardo has reaffirmed to us that Lamborghini drivers are still fearless when it comes to fording. This video from YouTube user Ben Reilly shows a Gallardo crossing an even wider and deeper patch of water on a flooded stretch of road.
Strangely, the driver chooses a lane that sits lower than the adjacent lane and in the process subjects his or her car to even deeper water. Fortunately, the Italian exotic makes it out fine on the other end... at least it seems.
