Dramatic footage caught while filming an episode of Top Gear Korea, the South Korean adaption of the popular British television show, was released by the BBC over the weekend.

The footage shows a crash that occurred during a stunt being filmed for the show’s latest season.

The stunt involved one of the show’s presenters, Kim Jin Pyo, trying to outrace a Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter using a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 supercar.

While everything goes well during the race, after both machines cross the finish line the helicopter starts to lose altitude and finally crashes into the ground.

Everything was captured on film, including the reaction of the show’s host, who after the initial shock immediately exits the car to check the situation.

Despite the violent impact, the show’s organizers have confirmed that no one was seriously injured.
