Kia has released a teaser image of a new Cross GT concept which it will reveal next week at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show.

Light on details, Kia has told us that the concept is a crossver that will give us a sneak peek of the brand's future design language. We also know that this concept is supposed to be a premium crossover, which hints that the new Cadenza sedan isn't the only upmarket vehicle Kia's considering for its lineup.

The Cross GT is said to be larger in size than the Sorento crossover, which means this concept might feature three rows of seating.

Styling-wise, we note the blunt front end with thin, swept back headlights. Kia's shark-nose grille is prominent, and there appears to be some sort of character line running down the length of the vehicle in the teaser image.

The front doors appear to feature vents or side-accents similar to those used on certain Jaguar and Range Rover models. We can also see what appears to be a fully glass roof, and a chrome-trimmed greenhouse.

The concept also appears to have large alloy wheels that fill the wheel wells nicely.Kia said the design is inspired by nature, and is driven by technology. While we aren't sure what that means, we won't have to wait long to figure it out.
