Special-edition sticker packages are, well, mostly lame, but occasionally, they rise above their marketing hype to actually be something we'd want to drive. This is one of those occasions.

Painted in a tasteful (and atypical, for a special-edition) white, with matte gray accents, the Trailhawk doesn't scream "murdered out, yo!" or "hold mah beer while I show you these tires." Instead, it's an understated but engaging new look for the Grand Cherokee that looks like it would be as at home on the suburban commute as it would on the trail.

As the name suggests, it is well-outfitted for the trail.

For example, there is Quadra-Lift air suspension, Selec-Terrain traction control, Quadra-Drive II four-wheel drive, rear electronic limited-slip differential, 18-inch mineral gray wheels, Goodyear off-road tires, Mopar rock sliders, black HID head lights, and a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 moving it all along. Inside and out, unique TrailHawk badges signify the model, and red and gray accents define the theme.

Going from the sketch, the one thing we're not sure about is the big hood graphic. That may work, or it may be that one step too far--we'll have to see the full reveal before we can pass final judgment.

What do you think? Is this sticker-wheels-and-trim package something you'd drive, or would you stick with the standard Grand Cherokee's looks?
