Most readers wouldn’t be familiar with the LUXGEN brand. That’s because it’s based in Taiwan and currently only has one model to its name, the LUXGEN7 MPV, which is sold in limited countries. However, LUXGEN is steaming ahead with the launch of its second model the, LUXGEN7 SUV, a fully loaded luxury SUV with advanced technology and one of the biggest interiors of its class.

Measuring at almost 16 feet in length, the LUXGEN7 SUV is no compact. For the powertrain, the LUXGEN7 SUV comes equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting function. Drive is sent to all four wheels via an intelligent three-mode 4WD system that can actively divide engine torque between the front and rear axles based on the road condition and driver input.

Some nifty features include an automatic tailgate, leather trim, heated and ventilated massaging seats, a Clarion sound system with JBL speakers, and a special driver’s sports seat that can fold and lean against the steering wheel to deny unauthorized access of the vehicle.

There’s plenty of other safety features including dual front airbags as standard, with dual side protection airbags, dual side curtain airbags, electronic stability and traction control offered as options. These are also a 360 degree camera surveillance system, a blind spot monitor, lane departure warning system and night vision. Controlling everything is the Think+ onboard computer system, which offers video and audio entertainment, telecommunication, GPS navigation, and vehicle information.

Sadly, there are no plans to being the vehicle over to the U.S. in the immediate future.
