Style is a very personal thing; some people go for the trendy while others go for the less traveled path. However, there is always a crowd that always has the latest fashion whether that be straight off the designer rack at Neiman Markus or directly from the store front of 5th Avenue or Rodeo Drive. The Italian’s are taking this one step further for the Geneva Motor Show that is scheduled to start this coming week. Fiat is introducing the Fiat 500 by Diesel—and no we don’t me the fuel type.

Diesel, as many of you may know, is an Italian design company best know for clothing aimed at the young adult market. In the beginning, Diesel was mostly known for their jeans, but now you can find the brand on everything from underwear to fragrances and now even a car. Yes, Fiat and Diesel have partnered to debut the Fiat 500 by Diesel at the Geneva Motor show with a host of cosmetic upgrades to make these 10,000 units special and, in our opinion, sought after by the youth market.Since the Fiat 500 isn’t sold here in the U.S., yet anyways, fashionistas will have to admire it from across the pond and let our college counter parts in Europe roll up to university with the matching Diesel jeans, purse, perfume and car. What comes with the Diesel version? It comes with no less than 16-inch alloy wheels, “Diesel” logos embroidered in the interior, special matte silver body trim, faux air vents and denim styled upholstery. The Diesel version will also come with the next generation 1.3-liter Multijet diesel engine that boasts a combined mpg of 60.2 mpg U.S. in the combined European cycle.Bottom line—If you love your Italian clothing and Italian cars, then this might just be heaven on four wheels. If you are in Europe, you better get an order in quick because we doubt 10,000 vehicles is going to last long. No word on the sticker price, but expect to pay a premium over the upper end Fiat 500.
