Cars and Coffees are great for getting acquainted with other car lovers in your area, but the events aren’t always a pleasant affair as one Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] 458 Speciale owner recently discovered.

A woman driving a Mercedes-Benz 380SL at a Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, Virginia on Saturday ended up reversing her car onto the hood of the Italian exotic while attempting to parallel park. The aftermath reminds us of a Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] F-150 that mounted the hood of a 458 Italia in 2011.

It isn’t clear what happened early on in this latest accident but some of the Mercedes driver’s bungling is free for the world to see thanks to this video from YouTube channel Maryland & Virginia Cars.

Accident involves one of the most sought-after Ferraris

We have to assume the Mercedes driver failed to see the low nose of the 458 Speciale, because the parking spot is hardly challenging given the generous space available. It’s also odd that even with all the visibility afforded by having the top down, the Mercedes driver still had trouble with the park.

The owner of the Ferrari eventually shows up and understandably isn’t too pleased. Even after his car’s repaired, the owner can no longer claim it as an “accident-free car,” assuming it wasn’t already involved in an accident. The 458 Speciale is one of the most sought-after Ferraris in the collector world, as it’s widely believed the car is the last of the Italian marque’s naturally-aspirated V-8 models, so things like accident history matter.

Fortunately, as someone points out, “nobody was hurt…”
