The annual Goodwood Festival of Speed (FoS) is world-renowned for its awesome exhibitions of fast cars, both vintage and modern, in addition to its huge manufacturer support and celebrations. This year Audi, Bugatti and Morgan will be holding the centenary celebrations at the event, and while Mini will be celebrating 50 years in the business.

The theme of this year's event is "True Grit - Epic Feats of Endurance" and honors racing heroes best known for overcoming physical adversity, such as Jackie Stewart's 1968 win at the German Grand Prix with a broken wrist.

Run from July 3-5, 2009, the Festival of Speed will feature the famous hillclimb event, a forest rally stage, a 'Style et Luxe' concourse d'elegance show sponsored by Cartier and one of the largest displays of exceptional, expensive and storied automobiles in the world.

"It will be fabulous to have so many great cars and drivers here at Goodwood to celebrate our endurance theme for 2009. I look forward with much anticipation to seeing some of the great endurance drivers, riders and machines in action," said Lord March, founder of the Goodwood FoS.
