Weismann is bringing its uniquely retro styled cars to America by 2010 and expects to boost sales dramatically. Weismann only sold 100 cars last year, and wait-times for the cars are up to 18 months long, but with the move overseas they're expecting to triple their sales and reduce lengthy wait times on new models.

This is fantastic news for admirers of Weismann, who manufacture cars that have presence and character, and aren’t your typical Ferrari or Porsche deal. Wiesmann’s current focus is the GT, which is powered by a 4.8L BMW V8 and promises a more refined experience over previous models.

But the best news may be confirmation that Weismann cars are built to take all BMW engines, including the V10 from the M5 or even a V12.
