BMW has ambitious plans for its "Z" label, with rumored plans to release more cars wearing the Z badge to join the current Z4 coupe and roadster. We’ve previously covered the possibility of a small Z2 roadster as well as a possible Z8 and Z4 replacement, but over at Winding Road is a new rendering, dubbed Z6, that could be based on 3-series running gear.
The slow selling Z4 isn't due to be replaced until 2009, but we may see a new model with minor updates before then. A suspicious looking Z4 coupe with its roof decked out in black camo gear has been caught by spy photographers. According to the source, BMW may be testing a new version with a panoramic glass roof.
