The AC Schnitzer tuned Bimmer may not be the fastest tuner car around but its Tension 6-series is ranked as the fastest BMW on record, with a top speed of 206mph. The car competed at the Nardo high speed event held recently by Germany’s Autobild and tire manufacturer Continental in Italy.

The fully road-legal Tension runs a 411hp 5.1L engine that’s a substantial 89hp down on the 500hp M6. We wonder what that car is capable of if it had its electronic limiter removed. Meanwhile, the event saw three world records broken on the single day including new records for the world’s fastest sedan, coupe and SUV.
