Peugeot will unveil the 308 SW Prologue concept car at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, previewing a possible production version of the wagon due early next year. We call it a concept because the new model is yet to be given the green light and will only be produced given the level of interest it garners at the upcoming show.

In 2005, Peugeot displayed a ‘Prologue’ version of the 407 Coupe and an almost identical version of the car went on sale the following year. Like the 407 Coupe Prologue, the new 308 SW is near production ready bar a few minor changes to the interior. The two-tone leather, for example, is likely to be toned down for any final version.

Also on Peugeot’s stands will be the new 207 SW Outdoor and the carmaker’s first diesel-electric hybrid car based on the 308 hatch.
