Ford’s Aussie subsidiary and its FPV performance division were set to unveil two new models at next week’s Sydney Motor Show but images of the new cars were leaked ahead of the reveal. The cars are based around Ford’s Falcon sedan and its Territory SUV but both have undergone major mechanical upgrades and been kitted with aggressive bodykits to show off their performance credentials.

New to the Aussie performance division is the FPV F6X, a hotted up version of the Ford Territory Turbo. The new vehicle features a 4.0L inline six with a turbo bolted on and in standard guise develops 330hp (246kW). FPV also builds a sedan with the same engine called the Typhoon and in this model the force-fed powerplant develops 362hp (270kW) and a massive 550Nm of torque, so expect the SUV variant to feature similar power levels.

The second FPV is a limited edition version of the current V8-powered Falcon GT dubbed the GT Cobra. The new car will only be available in white and will feature blue racing stripes in honor of the original Falcon GT Cobra coupe from the late 1970s. According to Motor, the new Cobra will receive a 405hp (302kW) version of Ford's Boss 5.4L V8 but the we're sure the current model's 389hp (290kW) output should satisfy everyone but the most demanding enthusiasts.

Thanks to Jake for the tip off!
