The Mercedes SLR is one car not in need of an upgrade but that hasn’t stopped the guys at Brabus from increasing the car’s performance to the level of the world’s top supercars. To minimize lift on the front axle, designers developed a front spoiler that attaches to the production bumper. The spoiler is made from exposed carbon fiber and its shape was fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. A corresponding rear diffuser made from exposed carbon fiber can be added as an option.

The car sits on Brabus Monoblock VI 20in wheels featuring a six double spoke design. The wheels are wrapped with either Pirelli or Yokohama tires, measuring between 255 and 305mm.

The power tuning for the supercharged 5.5L engine consists of special camshafts, a fuel cooling system and a high-performance exhaust. Power output of the V8 compressor engine increases by 24hp (18 kW) to 650hp (478kW) at 6,500rpm.

Brabus also offers a special clutch-type limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40%. The tuned roadster sprints to 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 337km/h.

Inside, designers add custom leather trim, a flat-bottom sports steering wheel with integrated buttons for gear shifts. Brabus also offers carbon trim for the dashboard, center console and door trim.
