Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with Swiss watch manufacturer IWC to create the limited edition SL63 AMG Edition IWC, an exclusive version of the performance roadster limited to just 200 units and only available in a ‘Kashmir’ white finish. The car also features AMG’s new carbon package, which includes carbon matte trim both inside and out.

The interior is also fitted with Tobago Brown nappa leather and contrasting carbon trim on the center console and the interior door panels. Other unique features include black floormats with leather piping and the IWC logo on the lid of the center console.

Along with the vehicle, buyers will also receive a limited edition model of IWC’s “Grosser Ingenieur” watch. The new unit has a stainless steel body measuring 45.5mm across and features a sapphire glass bottom showcasing the automatic Pellaton winding system.

The mechanical package remains unchanged, boasting an output of 525hp (386kW) and maximum torque of 630Nm. This ensures the car accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reaches an electronically controlled top speed of 300km/h.

Mercedes and IWC have been collaborating on special edition models since 2004 when they released their first model together, the CLS55 AMG IWC Engineer. The new SL63 version will be ready for pre-order in the third quarter of the year with first deliveries expected to start in November.
