Mark Stevenson began his professional career in information technology before switching to automotive writing in 2012. After freelancing for many outlets in the United States and Canada, Mark became managing editor of The Truth About Cars, one of the internet’s oldest automotive blogs. He left automotive journalism for a short stint with the the world’s largest investment-grade automotive auction house before contributing to Internet Brands Automotive starting in 2017. Mark spends time away from the keyboard attempting to wrestle extra power out of a 1.0-liter Fiesta, keeping dead brands alive by riding a Buell XB9S Lightning, and watching a copious amount of bad automotive television with his two dogs, Nismo and Maloo.
