Everyone loves pitting all manner of supercar against the Tesla Model S P90D. Thanks to its twin-motor setup, all-wheel drive, and Ludicrous Mode, the Model S uses its nearly 740 horsepower to run from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds. Today the all-electric super sedan is facing off against a Lamborghini Aventador. The Italian stallion makes use of a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that's good for 700 horsepower and pushes the coupe to a sub-three-second 0-60 blast as well.

We've seen these two pair off in a straight-line shot before. This time, however, it's happening with a 360-degree camera recording the action. As you watch the video above, you can use your mouse to change the view and get the angle of the action that you seek.

In the first run, the timing of the start is a bit off, and the Model S rockets forward for an easy victory. The second race is more properly launched and shows just how closely these two cars are matched in the run up to sub-100-mph speeds.

With more room to keep pushing, you'd quickly see the Model S fall off the pace put down by the Lamborghini. Regardless, it's impressive to watch two surprisingly heavy machines duke it out with such amazing power and speed off the line.
