A collision between a stretch limousine and a train made for a memorable Sweet 16 party in New Paris, Indiana, last week.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred after the vehicle bottomed out on the tracks. After impact, it was pushed along the tracks for over a minute while the train decelerated.

From the looks of the video, the Chrysler 300-based stretch job held up pretty well. But no information was available on exactly why the driver thought it would be able to navigate the crossing—it looks like a teeter-totter—or why he was unable to alert the railway operators about the fact it was blocking the tracks. Most American crossings have hotline numbers posted for such incidents.

Fortunately, a local photographer who happened to come upon the scene caught the collision on video. At least someone was thinking here. Enjoy.
