After a number of leaks, BMW finally released official details and photos for its new 2-Series. The car goes on sale early next year and will include a sporty M235i variant, making it BMW’s first M Performance model to be sold in the U.S. market.

BMW has built its most expensive 7-Series ever. We’re not sure who the owner is but we do know the car packs more than 22 pounds of solid silver. Many of its finer details are also handmade.

Infiniti wants a proper flagship but instead of a large sedan the upmarket Nissan label sees a four-door coupe like the Porsche Panamera being a better fit for its lineup. To help speed up development, word is Infiniti will borrow another platform from its alliance partner Mercedes-Benz.
