With each passing year, more and more OEMs are showing up at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb with the intention of taking home some trophies.

The latest is Honda, which plans to campaign an unprecedented 10 vehicles across nine different classes in this year’s event, scheduled for late June.

Honda will serve as both a sponsor and a participant, seeing the race as one of the most popular grassroots motorsport events in North America.

But the Japanese automaker won’t do it alone, calling on a number of its motorsport partners as well as its own North American R&D division.

In addition, French IndyCar driver Simon Pagenaud will campaign Pikes Peak in a vehicle developed together with Honda and wearing the Honda Performance Development (HPD) banner.

Pictured above is an original Acura NSX that was raced last year in the Open class. It featured a custom twin-turbocharged V-6 engine developed by HPD and ended up finishing a respectable fourth, with an overall time of 11:42.

Below is a list of Honda’s 2013 entries, which we’re glad to report includes the awesome NSX.
