If you’ve attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed in recent years, you’ve probably seen the Gazoo Racing Lexus LFA work its way up the hill. It would be easy to assume that Lexus was behind the car’s appearance, but that would be incorrect.

In fact, Lexus has never “officially” appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but that changes with the 2013 running of the event. Now a contributing manufacturer, the Japanese luxury brand will use the celebration of all things fast to help introduce its latest wares in the United Kingdom.

Front and center will be the all-new 2014 Lexus IS range (including the IS 300h hybrid), which Lexus will market with test drives for Goodwood attendees before the car even hits dealer showrooms.

Also on display will be the new-for-2013 GS sedan and the now out-of-production LFA supercar, which proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that Lexus could build more than just luxury cars.

Gazoo Racing will be back with its LFA endurance racer, too, fresh off their running of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. It will be joined on its run up the hill by the all-new IS 300h F Sport hybrid, as Lexus seeks to demonstrate that the spirit of the LFA lives on in all its models.

The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to take place on July 12 - 14, with the Moving Motor Show scheduled for July 11. For ticket information, head on over to the Goodwood Festival of Speed home page.
